These are our current volunteering opportunities at Citizens Advice North Lincolnshire.
Become a Trustee
We are looking for a new trustee who will join a team who are collectively responsible for the overall management, governance and strategic direction of the charity, and for developing the organisation’s aims, objectives and goals in accordance with governing documents, legal and regulatory guidelines.
You should have a proven record of achievement in your own field, operating at a strategic level, confronting challenges and driving through initiatives.
We are particularly looking for someone who has recent experience of living and working in North Lincolnshire and/or has lived experience of using our services and is able to bring that perspective and insight to board discussions.
Lived Experience Involvement Volunteer
Your role will involve a range of different activities based on what matters to you, reflecting your own skills and interests. These will include attending meetings, forums, interviews and so much more.
You will help to provide a real insight into how we can help make positive changes as part of the Community Mental Health Transformation Programme.
Community Connector Volunteer
Your role will be to support the Ironstone Early Intervention Coordinator and voluntary, community and faith organisations and groups to provide information and signposting to people visiting the centre.
You will engage visitors in conversation about themselves, encouraging changes in behaviour that have a positive effect on their health and wellbeing and will support them to connect to community activities and services.
