Walking Out of Darkness

CANS will be taking part in ‘Walking Out of Darkness’ an event to raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention. It is a 10 mile sponsored walk organised by the national charity CLASP and supported by NSC, 1in4 and Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership. There will be a festival on the beach lawns in WSM from 9 am to 4 pm where local organisations, services and charities will have stands to promote their services - including CANS. Holly's leaving do

Friday 28 April, 4pm onwards

As some of you will know Holly will be leaving CANS on the 28th April having volunteered/worked here for the last couple of years.  Holly has achieved a huge amount in her time here as Adviser and Research & Campaigns Officer and she will be sorely missed.  

We will be having a few drinks in the Imperial Pub on South Parade in Weston-super-Mare from 4 pm on Friday 28th April to say good-bye to Holly - to which you are all invited.
